1. CONTACTING US
First of all, you need to contact us via our
e-mail [email protected]. Please introduce yourself and let me know briefly about what you need from my services and let me know about your deadlines. I will respond within 24 hours. In that response I will also send you a questionnaire that you will need to fill out.
2. FILLING OUT THE QUESTIONNAIRE
You will need to fill out the questionnaire that was previously sent to you. In order for us to start working on your project, you need to return the completed questionnaire. It is important to fill out the questionnaire as detailed as you can because that will help me a lot during the design process and it will ultimately lead to the best possible design. The questionnaire is made out of questions that I need answered from you in order to design a perfect cover for you, but it also has a part where you can write something that you think wasn’t within the questionnaire but you think is important.
3. PAYMENT AND STARTING A PROJECT
There are two options to start a project:
Option 1: To do the payment for the project directly with me via PayPal. In this case I will require a 50% as a deposit and the other 50% will be due at the end of the project.
Option 2: To use a site called 99designs as an intermediary. You pay them , we both sign the contract and then they hold the money until the project is finished ( at the end we both need to click the finish button ). They charge 5 % for their services.
4. COVER DESIGN PROCESS
You will get a JPG file (design proposal) with my watermark on it in around 2 weeks. After I send you the first draft, you will give me your feedback. If you like the design and you are 100% satisfied with the end result we will be 2-3 days away from completing the project. If however you don’t like something in the design, you can let me know. We will continue to talk and work on your project until you are 100% satisfied. The number of revisions is unlimited and they are not charged extra because my ultimate goal is for you to be in love with the final design and nothing else is enough. On the other hand, while revisions are unlimited and free of charge, the more revisions we have, the more time will be necessary to complete the project. Once you confirm the design, I will start working on the additional files that you have ordered. They will also come with a watermark on them. After you confirm the additional files too, we will proceed to Payment and final files handover.
5. PAYMENT AND FINAL FILES HANDOVER
For the clients that have chosen Option 1 for starting a project: After confirming the overall design of all the files you have ordered, I will ask you to make a second half of the payment via PayPal. After the payment is confirmed, we will send you high-resolution and print-ready files, depending on the package you purchased. Please notify us via email after you pay the invoice.
For the clients that have chosen Option 2 for starting a project: After confirming the overall design of all the files you have ordered, I will upload all the final files in the final files folder on 99designs. After that both of us will need to click on the finish button and then the payment will go from 99designs to me and simultaneously the rights for the design will go from me to you and you will be able to download all the final files.
